Enterprise Geospatial Services is the division within City of Austin's IT Department dedicated to providing enterprise geospatial data, applications, and systems employees and residents need to make reliable, data-driven solutions, while also leveraging its technical expertise to inspire collaboration and forward-thinking initiatives.
As the Public Information Specialist, I led communication activities for the EGS division, including an in-depth communications audit, project communication coordination, and rebranding efforts. I acted as a consultant for operational communications and liaised between the division and the Communication and Technology Management (CTM) department's communication leaders.
Spotlight: GIS Modernization Project Communications Support
The GIS Modernization Project is a three year initiative to update GIS technology across the City. After an initial review and analysis of standing literature, I worked with the Project Manager to move beyond project consultation and into work that created an engagement strategy, innovated content development, and expanded direct communications support to product owners.

  - Created the layout and design for the Residential One Sheet; collaborated with Address Team to ensure correct process was outlined.
